I can’t believe Christmas is days away. Time passes quickly the older we get—at least, that is how it seems. However, from the world’s perspective, the Desire of Ages could not come soon enough. When God’s love incarnate left the womb of Heaven for a mother’s virgin womb in Nazareth, except for a few, the world nearly missed God’s love alive and crying in a Palestinian village.
This love is not abstract or distant but tangible, earthy, and transformational, revealed in Jesus Christ.
The last Sunday of Advent reminds us that love is the foundation of God’s mission. John 3:16 declares, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son.” The Incarnation is the ultimate expression of love—a love that enters our brokenness, bears our burdens, and offers us redemption.

This love calls us to action. In 1 John 4:19, we read, “We love because He first loved us.” God’s love transforms our hearts and compels us to reflect it in our relationships, communities, and the world. Love is patient and kind, a bridge to reconciliation and hope.
As Christmas approaches, let us pause to reflect on how we can embody Christ’s love in tangible ways. Whether through a kind word, a selfless act, or forgiving a wrong, may our hearts reflect the love that came down to dwell among us. Above all, may we who believe share with those who do not Jesus is the only way, the only Truth, the only life.
Love incarnate is come. The waiting is over. Every day, we celebrate love has, is, and will come.
Just a few days more…
