Spiritual direction, or spiritual companionship or guidance, involves one person (the director or guide) accompanying another person (the directee or seeker) on their spiritual journey rooted in Scripture and led by the Holy Spirit. Through spiritual direction, individuals receive assistance in exploring and interpreting their experiences of God in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
